Guess where I’m going this Easter

…everywhere!
Well, that’s exaggerating a bit, but I am going to quite a lot of countries including Majorca, Corsica, Spain, France and Italy.
My parents are taking me on a cruise as part of my 18th birthday present.
Ever since I went to Egypt and Jordan on a cruise 3 years ago, I have been begging my parents to take me again.
I will be going to some places I have been to before like Palma and Barcelona. But as well as that I will be visiting some new places like Corsica, Toulon, Rome, Florence and Pisa. Yep, I’m off to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum. I am so so excited!
I just love traveling. I don’t think there is anything more educational than actually visiting famous, historic places. You really do learn so much. I find traveling especially beneficial as I want to study geography at university, and having this background knowledge proves to be very useful. I remember studying Egypt in Geography a few years back and I understood everything so well as I could relate it to when I visited there.
I have now finished all of my January exams. I sat my geography issue evaluation exam on Thursday and I think it went pretty well. I will find out what grades I have got in March. I’m desperately hoping that I don’t need to resit anything. I don’t need that kind of stress again.
I have to work on my coursework now. If you follow me on Twitter you may have read my complaints about a useless teacher. Sorry about that, but I am completely fed up of this ICT coursework and the minimal help I have been given. I HATE DATABASES!!!
I’m also making a start on my biology coursework, which involves designing and carrying out an experiment. Many people in my class are growing plants and changing growth factors, but I’m so useless at looking after plants that I managed to kill a cactus.
So I have decided that I am not going to take that risk and instead I am organising a practical related to enzymes and the effect of pH on them.
